On 20 September 2023, the Mintack Foundation’s Administrative Manager and Public Relations Officer, accompanied by a young football genius named Louis Paul Eyetemou, travelled to Bamako in Mali for an unforgettable exchange trip. The aim of this initiative was to strengthen links and share knowledge with other football players in Africa.

During this ten-day period, the Mintack Foundation team had the opportunity to meet with managers and representatives of renowned Malian clubs. Fruitful discussions took place on subjects such as the training of young talent, the management of sports infrastructures and strategies for the development of football in the region.
The young footballing genius Louis Paul Eyetemou was the catalyst for this experience. As a talented and promising player, he was able to share his journey and his perspectives with the Malian players, arousing admiration and inspiration. Joint training sessions were organised, enabling players from both countries to train together and exchange techniques and tips on the pitch.
In addition to the sporting events, cultural visits were also organised to discover the cultural wealth of Mali. Members of the delegation had the opportunity to visit historic sites, explore local markets and interact with the Malian population, strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding.
This exchange trip to Bamako was a truly enriching experience for the Mintack Foundation. It provided an opportunity to share best practice, broaden horizons and strengthen partnerships with other football stakeholders in Africa. It also offered Louis Paul Eyetemou a unique opportunity to grow as a player and to be inspired by Malian talent.
The Mintack Foundation is determined to continue such initiatives, thereby promoting the development of football and cooperation between African countries. These exchange trips reinforce the Foundation’s belief that football is a universal language that enables people to forge links, share knowledge and forge friendships across borders.
