From 2 to 9 March 2024, the Chairman, the Administrative Manager and the Public Relations Officer of the Mintack Foundation travelled to Dakar for an exciting exchange trip. The aim of the trip was to strengthen ties with Senegalese football players and promote cooperation in the field of sport.
During the week, the Mintack Foundation delegation had the opportunity to meet club managers, coaches and young Senegalese talent. Lively discussions took place on subjects such as player training, the management of football academies and the challenges facing Senegalese clubs.

Joint training sessions were organised, enabling players from both countries to exchange techniques and skills on the pitch. The exchange of experience and knowledge benefited all participants, strengthening the ties between the two nations.
In addition to activities in the field, cultural visits were organised to discover the cultural wealth of Dakar. The delegation had the opportunity to visit historic sites, sample Senegalese cuisine and explore local markets, creating bonds of friendship and mutual understanding.
This exchange trip to Dakar was a remarkable experience for the Mintack Foundation. It provided an opportunity to share best practices, broaden perspectives and strengthen partnerships with Senegalese football stakeholders. It also gave the Chairman and members of the delegation the opportunity to discover the passion and talent of young Senegalese players.
The Mintack Foundation is firmly committed to continuing to promote such exchange trips, thereby fostering the development of football and cooperation between African countries. These initiatives reinforce the Foundation’s belief that sport can transcend borders, create lasting bonds and contribute to a promising future for the continent’s young talent.
